30 Days of Witchcraft ~ 30-Day Challenge ~ Day 18 Witch's Bells

Hello, Lovelies. Day 18 of our 30 Days of Witchcraft "Write Your Craft" challenge and we're going to wrap up a few more basics, before ending our 30 days with the rest of the Wheel of the Year next week.

Today we're going to talk about witch's bells. Not just the ones on our altar, but our door, handheld, and wherever else we think they need to be. In olden times, bells were believed to have magical powers. Witches never forgot.

What is a Witch Bell?

Well, it’s just what it sounds like. It’s a bell, used by a witch. We use them for rituals, spells, and more.

How are Bells used?

They are rung, usually rhythmically. The can be used for:

  • energy clearing
  • centering & calming
  • clearing and charging crystals & other tools
  • for good fortune when hung on the door
  • driving away evil spirits and other witches
  • invoking spirits
  • warding off the evil eye
  • the Fae love bells
  • they also represent the air element, as needed

Can I make a Witch Bell?

ABSOLUTELY! You can make them ceremonial, decorative, or useful for 100 things. You can have a set for certain things. You can gift door bells for good fortune in your group! Use different tones, styles, materials, add crystals, herbs, and more! Make them unique. Do you!
