Welcome to day 16 of our 30 Days of Witchcraft "Write Your Craft" Challenge. Today we're going discuss sigils and I'll show you a few cool ways to make them!
Sigils are an artistic way to manifest things into being. This is an image heavy post.
The first thing we do is take am "I statement" and make it a hard positive. "I believe in myself." vs I will believe in myself. Make it NOW! We are manifesting.
I B E L I E V E I N M Y S E L F
Then we remove any letters that repeat.
B L V N M Y S L F
When drawing, start with an O, End with an I and Repeats are ♦
First the alphabetic witch's wheel.
And you follow the remaining letters around the wheel.
Next is the number/letter wheel.
First you determine what number each letter is, and follow it around the wheel.
Next is the Number Letter Grid. Same deal, but you go around the grid.
So, right now they aren't so pretty. That's why I do them on dry erase. I find the one I like, and then you stylize it.
Add in some dots for fun, I added an infinity because I ALWAYS need to do this. the spiral in the center is is a symbol for rebirth, when spiraling in that direction.
Play with it, have fun! At the end of the day it needs to be unique to that saying and your belief in that is the manifestation.
