What do you think Magick actually is? What is the power or force behind witchcraft?

This one is easy for me.

 

It is everything. 

It's the air I breathe. 

And the Earth I walk on. 

It's the water and fire that sustain life.

And the animals that feed, entertain, and depend on me. 

It's a newborn baby's cry. 

It's everything, and it's nothing.

It's the deep emptiness of space where air cannot reach. 

And the drowning tides reaching to the moon. 

It's the fire that consumes. 

And the rotation of the earth, bringing us slowly to our death. 

It's the astral space of mind and soul deep within us all.

It's the pride you feel when something goes right.

And the pain you feel when something goes wrong. 

It's the butterflies you feel when you love someone.

And the heartache you feel when they're gone.

It's the opening of your eyes welcoming a new day, until you don't.

It doesn't need an explanation - or care to have one. 

It resides in us all - if only we care to look.
